Longing for freedom is natural for all of us. But believing you deserve it is a different story.

We can get so used to our wounds and our anxieties that we don’t remember what it’s like to live without them.

We get so used to carrying the weight of calculating the risk of every potential outcome, every possible reaction someone could have to our every micro-decision.

We carry it and carry it until one day…it becomes unbearable.

That breaking point is painful, but it is sweet. It’s the first step toward remembering who we really are and what we were made for.
